Some things are not marketing opportunities

It’s 8.21am on Anzac Day. Already in my social feeds I’ve seen posts from financial advisers:

  • “Happy Anzac Day”

  • Connecting Anzac Day with the need to buy insurance

  • Business logos plastered on stock images of poppies and slouch hats

Anzac Day is not a marketing opportunity.

Step away from Canva. Take your business development hat off. 

You don't need to put your logo on every image or message you create and share. 

Today is not about your business.

Honour and respect the fallen, the survivors, their loved ones, those serving and those who have served.

Thank them.

And remember them.
